Equality Connecticut Advocacy Day

When: Wednesday, April 24, 2024 / 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM EST

Where: South Capitol Lobby, The Connecticut State Capitol, 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut, 06106

Calling all Connecticut LGBTQ+ advocates! Equality Connecticut calls on advocates to meet at The Connecticut State Capitol at 9:30 AM on April 24, 2024. As the state legislative session reaches its final weeks, we must make our voices heard.

As queer and trans people, we are fighting for our reproductive rights, mental health services that treat us with the dignity we deserve, and safe, welcoming schools for LGBTQIA+  young people!

On Wednesday morning, Equality Connecticut’s team will be in the South Lobby of the Capitol, distributing folders with critical messages and key talking points for our legislators. We will help you find your representatives and relay your messages to them.

Join us on April 24th to make your voice heard!

The Post-Pride Brunch was Equality Connecticut’s first foray into community event organizing. With the help of local bakery cafe Baker & Honey, we gathered and fed over 50 members of our community, providing a dedicated space for LGBTQ+ people to meet each other and connect.

We have hosted the event for two years now and plan to host the Post Pride Brunch again in July 2024. Check back for details!
